why do people hav faith ?

ok umm first of i dont believe in any god but i want to find out why people hav faith in ther god (whotever god that may be )

the problem im having is that religion has made meny meny men/women do bad things such as killing so haw can religion be a good thing if only bad things come from it ? yes ther is good things as well but the bad outway the good by 1000000s ( if u drop sum red die in the sea it wont change the collor of the sea . the good counts for nothing ) and 1000000s hav died in the name of religion
yet people still hav faith faith in wot ? i realy dont understand haw any1 can want to be apart of sumthing so evil.

so with that sed wher do people get faith ?

The basis of religion is not evil, the interpretations and its power have been misused by a select few for their own purposes.

Where do people get their faith from ? From the hope that they can be safe and have a better tomorrow.

Not having any faith would do more harm than good.

Maybe its because of the fact that some many people have faith that mankind has a chance.

My local Aldi is doing a special on neoplatonic atheism this week, but you need to shop around.

My mate reckons Tesco are doing a nothing-for-1 on nihilistic agnoticism, but I don't believe him.

I will give this a shot...I have faith because of this...Genetic scientist and DNA scientist say that we didnt just show up here by accident. Here is why !!!!!. It would be easier to create a fully functioning 747 jumbo jet that flies by sending a whirlwind through a metal junkyard to create it, than to create what we are today. You would also have a better chance at winning the lottery 10,000 times in a row than that we were created by accident or evolved the way we have.

So are we are form of Intelligent design ???....

Many religious institutions have become extremely corrupt in our times (and in the past). This corruption has led to the suffering of many. If you take the corruption away, and you have a world view of an energy, or a god, or whatever it may be - it will give you faith to cope through the issues of life. Do you want to live your life in a meaningless existence and end up dieing one day to nothing? Me, personally - I'd rather try to find answers or meanings to life. I want to have a purpose. Faith provides purpose, a reason to be helpful, a reason to wake up every day and enjoy. I fully believe in nothing, but I continue to search for answers. I am very fond of the energy that is inside everyone and I use that as my basis of existence. I feel all of us have a special 'God' type power to create, heal, and manipulate this world. Will you do it in the name of positivity or destruction?

These neo-religious posts are copy and paste jobs by this guy from other forums and websites. If the poster has any genuine intention, they certainly have no original thought. He's having some kind of ego fantasy publishing 'truths' on T2W.

I think this pretty much covers it. Or if life is so miserable, then there's something to look forward to, like 30 virgins or whatever the number is, when you die.
