Im sorry, I wasnt aware the for sale section would generate a discussion. I only asked for a pm if anyone was interested. I am not a serial advertiser. I am not making a promise of great riches to a group of people desperate for easy money like many of the adverts. I simply have an item which may be of interest to a successful trader who also likes cars and number plates. I have not "bumped" the advert to attract views. I was happy on page 10 or wherever I was before the forum police showed up with their infinite wisdom.

The fact you are not interested in said item does not matter to me. Believe it or not, im not interested in many of your posts. Do you suggest I come along and tell you im not interested or would you prefer I let the discussions continue between interested parties?

I will be happy to pay to advertise if that is how the forum decides to operate. Dont berate me for the current set up, I didnt make the rules.

Run along now and see which other threads need tidying up.

I don't think anyone's disputing your right to post up a for sale item in the classifieds (I for one have zero issue with it, but I'm not a mod), but this is an internet forum, so what were you expecting? if it wasn't a touch of lulz for posting up a personalised FX related number plate then I think you're a tad deluded.

Stop taking all this, and yourself, so seriously. I'm sure if anyone really wants to pay £5k to have a number plate that only a select few people will understand and that in any case will make them appear, to the vast majority of those few people at best a touch gauche and at worst a total c0ck, then they'll PM you, as requested.
