Hi All.

Seriously thinking about taking the above mentioned course. Does anyone have experience of the "Ultimate Forex Profits" course which is run by "Knoledge to Action" and owned by Mr. Secker.

Any comments would be very well received.

Thanks and all the best. Nick.

I have heard from several people I trust that it is a great course, but I don't have personal experience myself. I will try to get them to post here so you can hear from the horse's mouth...

That is very kind of you. Really appreciate it. Thanks again. Nick.

Nicholas,

The UK Financial Services Authority has issued an alert concerning Knowledge to Action Ltd (link below).

They have also had a complaint against them upheld by the Advertising Standards Authority. They were found to have breached the code in 2 instances where their advertising was found to be misleading. They also advertise that they were finalists in the National Business Awards, however when you check the awards website they are not listed as a finalist.

If you do a google search for the above mentioned people and organisations with the word 'scam' in the search and you will get more information.

I actually attended the Knowledge To Action free seminar in Birmingham a few months ago. And I can tell you that it's a complete pile of rubbish so dont waste your time. These people try to fool you into thinking that trading and making a profit is such an easy thing to do, when in reality its much much harder than that. I remember the speaker showing us one of his profitable trades and the setup he uses, and when I asked him what those indicators he was using were, he replied something along the lines of 'oh I dont actually know what they are I just know that when x line crosses y line then I should buy etc. Thats all you need to know about it really, you dont need to make life complicated know what they are'. Which left me thinking, 'so you expect us to pay for this system when you yourself dont know what the system actually is?- wow'

All in all, the course is for people who maybe slightly interested in trading but do not have the time and effort to do their own research about trading, and would rather fork out 6k to pay somebody to tell them how to trade. Truth be told, alot of the information presented in that seminar is available on this forum for FREE!

Hope that helps.

I went to their office in Fulham (London) some time ago (2009 or 2008 – can't remember). It was a free seminar. I met a girl (who attended the seminar) who used their system and went through their course before and came back to find out why she's still losing money. People there knew her and were trying to calm her down (she complained about trying to get in touch with them without any success etc.)
Difficult for me to say if it's any good. The presenter knew about trading (didn't reveal too much) and they also have kind of trading floor there (at the time looked quite deserted). They have some sort of system using it on Esignal. Anyway hearing about that girl's experience (she spent all that money on the system and the course and still losing money), I decided to give it a miss.
Maybe you can learn by yourself using internet and books, but whichever way you choose is going to cost you (in losing trades entered through a lack of knowledge or by paying for a course).
Anyway that girl spent money on the course and afterwards lost money trading.

On their full course they tell you to buy/sell when the MACD *crosses* (standard settings) on one hour TFs....er...that's it.,They disguise it, in the same way most plug in, out of the non existent box EAs do, but in reality that's it. So go on, fill your fookin boots, knock yerselfs out...
TBH there's a lot worse strats. out there, if you get the M.M. and self discipline right...;)

I attended there seminar. I was impressed with their presentation about forex for newbies and also their testimonials. They showed a video of Greg Seckler earning £19K in like 7 mins I was like no way is it that easy the whole world would be doing it until he kindly told us it was a £2million pound account!

I dont think they justify the £3k they ask for but they did knock off £1k of the price which I though was good but paying £2k for a 2 day course to learn trading may as well put that into a trading account and learn your own way imo.

Do you honestly believe the price was £3k to start with? It was never £3k, nor will it ever be, rather it's a sales technique, same as the crappy 'testimonials'. All designed solely to hook the greedy and naive.

What I'd like to see is the testimonial people giving their real thoughts, and I mean being 100% honest, 1-2 years after they took the course. Somehow I don't think 98% of them would feel dreadfully let down and they wouldn't be making the big bucks and easy second incomes etc for their 20 minutes work a day.

Well the price to some people is nothing someone new to the field and wanting a fast track way it clearly works for some people and I seen a few people signing up without hesitation. The presenter asked the question do you believe these figures making £20k in 7 mins through currency trading is real and everyone raised there hands. True what you say 1-2 years after those strategies may not work but the course does work for some people unless they are being paid to give a false video testimonial.

hes received so much bad press, but ive yet to see anyone on this site say theyve paid for the training and have tried it out. youd have thought soemone would have come on to defend the £3k they have just spent,or are they too embarassed

Did the presenter stress the point about losing 20k in 7mins as well?

They did, there was plenty of comments on his courses. It was pretty much all negative and they forced T2W to delete it. Thats why you cant find comments from anybody who has been on it.

I think the guy who was commenting on it most was called Ken Hetherington, he was threatened as well I heard. I think he's still around, though probably unwilling/unable to comment.

Unreal,

No offence but, as the Americans say, you're going to get you ass handed to you by some of these guys. Kishore M, Secker, forex robots, you've been asking about them all. I know you're probably desperate to believe some of these things will make you rich but I have to tell you they wont. Almost every vendor lies about their products, some more than others.

What I can tell you now is that going on a 2 day course or buying the latest 'secret forex robot' is not going to make you money so forget about it. If you're serious about trading you need to be prepared to spend years learning, even then you may fail.

Hi,

I have always been very dubious about people offering to ‘teach’ you how to trade; if indeed you know how to make money from the markets then why are you wasting all this time advertising, sending emails and running seminars ???

Surely you would spend all your time trading those ‘rules’ and make a sackful of money all the time instead wouldn’t you.

The other argument is that if these people really wanted to (ahem) ‘give something back’ then all those seminars and following courses would be free because they are making so much money from their own trading that they could afford to do so!

In trading circles, there is an excellent ‘saying’ and it is worth remembering because it encapsulate everything that is wrong (fraudulent even?) with people pretending they will give you stock market rules & secrets……

…..”IF YOU CAN’T TRADE, TEACH”

I reckon these people make 90% of their income from those courses and NOT from trading.

Well another such 'guru' was actually found to have made zero from trading despite claiming to be the World Champion. Therefore I think your 90% estimate is a bit generous to say the least.

I went to a free seminar and admittedly fell for the techniques of the clever salesmen. I paid the deposit to secure a spot on the "discount special offer", once I had cooled off I did some research online and realised that I had been mislead. I therefore went through the process of getting the deposit back (recorded delivery letter, visiting etc) Needless to say they were very difficult and soon showed their real colours.

My advice to all is, go to the seminars (they are free afterall) but just do not sign up straight away without doing your research.
