FOREX and UK tax

I've read various articles about UK tax obligations/trading as a company etc and some of them seem vague or contradictory..... Does anyone know the definitive answer to:

1. What the UK tax obligations are for profits on individuals FOREX trading?

2. Is operating as a trading company (Ltd?) a way of reducing the obligations if there are any?

Is Forex is the only solution you have?
for example, isnt it possible for you to trade (Spreadbet fx) instead?
in this case you dont have to pay any tax.

unless you are looking for the TAX structure on Forex.
