Hi. Can anyone point me in the direction on where I can find information on the weekly top to bottom pip range movement for pairs?

Thanks in advance.

I think one of the free internet charting packages had the facility to export the data, but can't remember which one. Stratagem Charts? Have a feeling that it might have been no longer than daily data for the version I saw (in which case you might have to write an extra line of formulae in excel) but maybe there's anotehr incarnation of it, on another website, that has weekly charts.

Thanks for that. Had a look but not quite what I was after. So if anyone knows of any sotware that offers this?

Thanks for responding back. Basically the charts you mentioned are kinda halfway there but something seems up with the export... it doesn't seem to give all dates. I'm just being a bit lazy really, but I follow around 10 currency pairs so this will be a bit of a pain to update.

What I'm looking for is to get a weekly pip total from high to low for the week which I could then run for different time periods to calculate the weekly avearge movement for the pair. To explain, I tend to do a lot of fixed odds trading and therefore I can compare my trades against the bookmakers odds, given the return they will give me in relation to the average movement for the pair... if that makes sense!

How about metatrader? You can download it for free as a demo accountthrough my broker, which is Alpari. Don't know much about exporting though....

I created some tables for daily, weekly, monthly ranges some time ago. Here's the weekly table. I'll get around to updating it reasonably soon for mid-2008.
