i downloaded a demo account from the broker interbankfx, seeing it uses the meta trader platfrom. ive had 4 days off work and have been demo trading alot. ive also been watching numerous videos about forex trading, entry exit points, charting etc. the thing is ive made about 1000 a day int he past three days of constant trading. i started with 5000 buying lots of 100000. my question is should i start with real money if i am getting these results. and would it be different with real money?
thanks in advance

Try with very, very small lots. I very much doubt you'll be able to consistently profit unless you've missed out key information (like your day job is as a trader).

You've been demo trading for 4 days and you think you're ready for the real stuff?

Now I am a major advocate of getting your feet wet with a very small amount of real money early on, but that's to understand what you're getting into - not with the expectation of trading full sized and having sustainable success.

Do you have a trading system/methodology that you can define?

thanks guys. ill surely start off with very very small lots. one other thing, are there people that make that kind of return from forex. or do you have to be a day trader to do it. in other words what would you consider success if you are not a day trader and do it on the side, trading 100000 lots that is.

You absolutely, positively do not need to trade full time, or day trade, or whatever you want to call it to be a productive trader.
