I was wondering if any broker or spreadbetting company offer the possibility of trades being automatically executed when a certain indicator issues a signal, for instance, when the 200 moving average line is crossed. For example last night the 5 minute 200 moving average on the pound/dollar was crossed during the early hours of the morning, and so I missed it. Although I'm asking this, I don't suppose its possible.

TradeStation will allow you to send these signals to an IB account via tradebolt.

Quite a few brokers allow you to use Strategy runner.

I have had an email today from www.futuresbetting.com who are looking into this, I think that it would be a good idea for anyone wishing for this type of service to email them asking for an API. The more that do it the more likely they are to invest in this type of service.

juanbyte is right. TradeStation has been doing automatic trading for some time. They expect to have forex trading completely automated into their platform by the end of the year.

hi,
it is not a strategy for all market conditions, you will be killed with whipsaws in flat markets or asia trade, use carefully.
