PowerLines, Price Projections & Action Areas In Play: Currencies, Futures, Bonds

Hi all, this is my first post on here.

Each week i will post these charts (along with other FX pairs) with highlighted areas that i am watching for possible reversals, along with projections of where price may move should these reversals occur. Please note, these are NOT trade signals, these are simply areas i will be monitoring for potential reversals.

I use the core PowerLines support and resistance model derived from time frame, range, volatility and expansion; Overlayed with repeating market rhythms, fibonacci ratios and harmonic patterns.

Hi there FlashHeart, the PowerLines are the red and green horizontal lines across the charts, can you see them? i had trouble posting. They work as support and resistance levels which when combined with other factors such as ratios and harmonic patterns, can provide key reversal points

there seems to be a lot of lines close together,are they fib clusters

Whats the difference between a Powerline and a normal support / resistance line ?

and what are you selling ?....may as well get it rolling here

Hi FlashHeart, there is a Fibonacci element in the PowerLines calculation, coupled with timeframe, range and volatility.

Hi NVP, nope no selling - these charts are just for informational purposes. There are two years worth of charts archived at - please feel free to check them out and get a feel for how price reacts to these lines.
The PowerLines are a proprietary model based around timeframe, range, expansion and volatility - also utilizing fibonacci elements. I look for confluence between these areas and fibonacci levels, harmonic patterns etc.

These look like Pivot lines and Support and Resistance lines - Plenty of free info on these if you tap into Google

Hi Neil, these are a proprietary study, but you are correct, there is plenty of that stuff on google. Hopefully the value you will find in following this thread will be in the highlighting of inflection points and identifying likely interim destinations for price

$EURUSD. Breaks 1.2817 highs, heading for Powerline resistance at 1.2939 . Heavy event risk today so will update on any big moves.

Potential for this move to occur

I've been trading for nearly 10 years now and have never seen anyone successfully predict market moves,and it seems you are trying to predict anything up to a month or more. I think you're wasting your time on a fool's errand, but it'll be interesting to see if you can prove me wrong.

have you not been able to make successful predictions to profit from?
(of course, we cannot make correct predictions all the time.)

any way, I digress...

I believe I have seen the term 'powerlines' used by another trader before... Powerlinetrader, have you been a (an ex-)member of other forums?

Hi Fring, yes my trading has been very successful.
I use the PowerLines in confluence with Harmonic Market patterns and Fibonacci Ratio study, to determine a trade location.
The lines provide areas with a strong likelihood of reversal.

I will keep this thread updated regularly, so please follow and i hope you find the charts useful. And yes of course, the price projections will not always work out exactly, or i would be long retired

but it's important to keep applying analysis to the market and to have a view on whats happening. Can be just as useful getting you into a good trade as in keeping you out of a bad one.
