Anyone else think the Usd is going to embark on a long term uptrend? My trading style does not use charts nor any technical indicators but more on market knowledge and instinct. I just have this little feeling that we are running out of reasons to buy anything which in the past has always led to a type of safe haven surge in the Greenback.

I use Elliott Wave a lot in my analysis and I have reasons to believe USD is on
its way up medium term with target to AT LEAST 1.276 in EUR/USD pair.
Count invalidation at 1.3123. Currently 1.2913. I missed an earlier smaller
degree pullback early this week at 1.3080 and haven't been able to find a
suitable entry point so I am gonna have to wait for another pullback beore
jumping in. 8-((

I am stilll learning the forex world so my view could be wrong entirely!)

I would say so guvnor. The eur/usd is currently at 1.2912/15.

Turn your charts the other way up

Hi D.

Yep, did spot that m8. For the 1000th post is should have been a bit more profound really.

Still, I reckon if I turned my charts upside down half the time it would improve the trading no end

I've not been too bad. Had no end of problems, which i will not go into on here. But in general the trading goes from strength to strength. How are you doing?

I have to be honest with you.
I dont give a damn which way the USD goes so long as I am onboard at the Turning Points.

heya options

yeh - same here - partly.... i've also had no end of problems, and it has affected my trading, so not doing so much of it.....but still, c'est la vie...

btw lol - i think its quite profound for someone to be able to say their trading is going from strength to strength....good for ya mate!

Options,

for your 1000th post, you should indeed have waited for something more profound mate - Soccer_ Daemon was talking in USD terms not EUR, so his directional comment was correct

Options - apologise to SD, there's a good lad. SD - gratefully accept Options apology

No problem here man. I understand that sometimes we human just overlook
trivial stuff from time to time ..

I have heaps more to learn from many of you here.

:cheesy:

And if you have to explain the joke. Then it just isn't worth it.
Answers to the joke on a postcard please.

And Dump, the way that SC's post was phrased, it would have misled an awful lot of people. If eur/usd is mentioned. People are going to check the cross rate for that.
