Its 4:21 am on the time of writing this thread on one screen watching the BBC Horizon's "To infinity and Beyond" on the other watching the market, have a trade on Eur/Aud, +26 pips as of now :)

I love late nights the smells the lights and off course the coffee.

Wanted to know how every one else passes their late night trades?

Cheers.

Set and forget trades are the best, why live and die by every tick as long as you have an edge let the trades reach there intended conclusions... intraday scalping far too stressful for me

Make trading match your life, not your life match your trading, you're not going to be a consistent trader otherwise!

Trading in the middle of the night is fun but I'm pretty sure we'd all rather be having rumpy-pumpy.

I start trading at 8:30-9:30 pm every week night - that's what time it is here when the US markets open/

I'd LOVE to trade in the mornings.

The only other time I trade is when I'm in LA and then it's bloody 6:30am - not any better to be honest.

Europe must be the best location to trade US markets...

I've taken to trading the Asian session these days, mostly because I'd have to get up at 3am for the EU session, and I can't be consistent with the US session as I've got classes in the morning most days.

But Asian session is awesome. Get on around 6:15pm EST and prepare for 7pm open then trade until 9 or 10pm if the moves are still good until then. Go to bed at 11, and get a good night's sleep.

I'll be doing the US session once I have time I can devote to it to be consistent. Being inconsistent is a killer...

sleepless.... i'd imagine most of the people would simply jump off a bridge but when i went live for the first time, I took it personal, and was very desperate to open a position any time, I had lots of sleepless night. In the end, It was all for nothing but more loss. But now, I sleep a lot regardless of the break out. I wake most times.

I spend my sleepless trading nights try to divert my attention away from the charts by watching something else on the TV but it hardly works LOL! but reading is another way to do it :D

good for you arbu :) another thing i do now a days when i can't sleep is start messing with my dog so he wont sleep too :)

Coffee, tunes and chat. Insomnia used to bug me at first, but now I find it so much easier to concentrate at night.
