Hi guys !

Im close to finishing my university degree at last.

Im looking for advice as to what is the best spread trading platform in terms of value and usability for forex and commodities?

Iv studied these markets for years and after reading countless journals and forum
posts im finally going to give trading a go for 3 months as day trader. My trade value per point will be small, £2-3 per point, so please take that into consideration when providing answers.

Any software advice and charting recommendations would also come in highly useful.

Many thanks ! Please also note I am UK based.

My mate recommends FXCM, I've only started using it last couple of days and it seems pretty good as first impressions go. I've used IGindex for years now and can vouch for it as a very stable/reliable platform. Good luck.

All the best of luck. if you want my advice, three months isn't going to be enough time and to begin with you should trade the absolute minimum position size you can, because in all likelihood, unless you are 1 in a million you'll start out by losing money and learning valuable lessons.

You can go for AVAFX forex broker and software Metatrader or zuhutrade would be best choice for you.

ive been trading a long time so Ill tell you who I now use. i use Gft fot trading the lesser traded pairs and intertrader for the majors(eur/usd, gbp/usd eur/gbp etc)
Inters spreads are much better on majors and you get a 10% rakeback and sign up bonus. Gft spreads are as good as you can get for non majors. There is a spread on gft somewhere.Intertarder are what many call a bucket shop as such, but are totally regulated and Ive had no problems with them. I never mention them unless asked to,but if you do sign up for either I mght as well have the sign up bonus

I'm also in search of a good trading platform , the one that i found interesting was zulutrade , maybe you should check it out.

i have been using ActForex for sometime, but i found it not very powerful and convenient. now i'm also seeking for new trading software and i've stopped on the Protrader. now i'm trading demo and i tnink that this platform meets all my requirements. i think, you should try demo too, so you would understand is it good enough for you.

I also recommend to try out Zulutrade....open a demo to see how it works...we have a good thread here you can check some comments.
