Hi guys, I'm a complete newbie to Forex and wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction regarding which brokers to use. I have opened a demo account 4 weeks ago, started off with 5,000 and today I'm left with 90.25 lol, so i think i need a lot of help :cheesy: Also can anyone recommend a good forex education or training site please.
Thanks in advance

Caz

In regard to which broker to use - any broker's DEMO account is fine, and babypips.com is a great free learning resource.

thanks very much, babypips is one of the sites i have been gleaning info from x4x :)

LOL - if you've managed to blow up a demo, perhaps they're not that good after all!

Joking aside, markets can be difficult this time of the year (depending upon time frame) and the current panic isn't helping either. What market/s are you trading and what time frame?

It has been a tremendously hard time to trade lately, your ccy pairs, time frames and type of trading will be massively affected by the current volumes and fundamentally driven markets.

Think I'll stick with the demo as opposed to "real money" I'm now -22, EURUSD. Lots of learning to be done lol

*LOL* ...Mark Twain is more informed.

"October: This is one of the peculiarly dangerous months to speculate in stocks in. The others are July, January, September, April, November, May, March, June, December, August and February."

YOU may find them difficult, I don't.

So, do you trade every month of the year?

I trade every day of the year, if you are experienced and trade short term the volatility is an asset. For those new to trading such as Carollynne, trading can be (more) difficult during December due to the reduced volumes.

I'll remember that, may put my trading on hold till January....

IMHO as long as you stick to trading demo, any experience is good experience - but treat your virtual money like real money and use proper money management - good luck...

avoid trading during the full moon, or when sun spots exceeds 25

that sums it all. you will be foremost expert in the market in no time. :smart:
