I'm doing the same and will also have AUD in the mix (because of my location)

I would say if you're wanting to scalp the Eurodollar is the only pair you should be looking at. For all other trading and especially if you're new you should look for the least volatile currency pair to trade. Let me repeat the least volatile not the most volatile there are many webs sites where you can get that information from. If you try to trade any method other than scalping you will probably find yourself getting shaken out the market before you ever become profitable and your losses would be so heavy you'll soon washout.
