Hi all

I am looking for a FX dealer offering mini accounts with low min. deposit and with good platform similar to Refco 's BUT WITHOUT requotes, allowing to place orders at all time even during news , and honoring stops. Software should be fast and reliable, point and click EDAT style with few drop down menus and pop up windows. Had a look at CMC in the UK but from what I see the software is not what i want. Any other UK dealer that would fit my requirements ?

cheers

What is the name of your company ? are you an IB ? where are funds kept ? I am outside the US so I can't call

Hi Monk.

I currently use fxcm, have done for years. Some like them some don't. But can only speak for myself. Same platform as refco's. prob all 'white labeled', but very rare to get a prob with requotes. Only happens when the market moves as you click the button. Works for and against you. Never had any prob with stops being honored. (so far).

I am coming from Refco/FXCM so obviously I am looking for a different platform because they give you requotes in a moving market now and it's very difficult to trade . Stewart I suppose you are using FXCM platform as well ?

I offer two different platforms, RefcoFX and FXsolutions for my clients the recieve free demo's to each to see which they would rather trade.

I've been papertrading with http://www.oanda.com wannagetstacked is trading real money with them. Their spread on the EUR/USD is usually 1.5 pips. Sometime they change their pips (for reasons I don't understand to up to 10pips for that pair. But they show you that before you trade if you are paying attention. Even on a dial up line, I hardly ever get a requote even though I have my slippage 'bounds' set tight on market order entries. I've never had a requote on a stop loss order that was placed on their server.

There is a free demo called the FXgame that you can try for as long as you want with no obligation. You can trade not just a mini, but a micro position.

I don't believe there is such as thing as a guaranteed stop from anyone. Sometimes the market just moves too fast to fill your order - whether its, stocks, futures, forex, whatever.... Trading real money is for people who like a little risk with their breakfast - If you can't handle the heat of that , then you need to decrease your position size to something that doesn't scare you and won't cost you your house....
