Forex Trading Games

i have joined up to play an FX trading game offering up $5k trading account to the winner from sharescene

FX hasn't been my thing but thought I would give it a go since don't have to pay for an account or join anything.

any suggestions on some quality fx trading guides/advice? have looked around on some of the "independant" fx sites but most of the info is either just a sales job or too advanced for a beginner

If the objective is to learn to trade then I'd forget competitions. If the objective is to win a competition then basically need to be taking as much risk as you can and hoping to get lucky, thats how competions are won. If you can enter multiple times under different names do so.
