Hello Guys,

Can anyone suggest a good forex trading course at a low price?

I want a course that is supported by a real trader and the support should be awesome.

Thanks,
Dude

Just a word of advice, typically "not in every case" learning from a trader selling an education is a waste of money. I can't speak of vendors on this forum but you need to keep one thing in mind. If they know how to trade then why do they charge yiu for their knowledge. Sure there are those that say they enjoy teaching but I can't help but wonder if they were good traders and enjoyed teaching then why do they not give it for free.

If you're seeking a fast track education to becoming a trader let me just break your bubble before you disappoint yourself and be out of pocket too. Prepare for a long haul and finding your own way to your goals. Sure you can pickup nuggets from other traders but you won't find a complete package or a short track to your goals.
There has been good advice given to new traders before and you will do yourself merit by using the search function to find that info.
Good luck

Stay away from anyone offering forex training, they are all out to rip you off. If you get involved in retail forex by far the most likely outcome is that you will lose your money and never be profitable. That's what happens to the vast majority of people (some say 95%). If you must then look into futures but forget about retail forex.

Yep, the one you find yourself on your own personal voyage of discovery, nothing else compares. It'll take a year to become proficient, the year after to perhaps start to become profitable and by year three you may have de-fragged your hardware to become the real deal.

The cost? Well you'll have to do all the mentioned full time therefore needing to fund yourself for the time it takes to become profitable..Oh and the biggest myth in this industry is that you can start off part time, 'learn the ropes' and then stick 2 fingers up to the boss as you get in the Ferrari paid for by part time FX trading and wheel spin out of the staff car park..You either fully commit to this industry or treat it like going to a betting shop, the ones who successfully move from part time to full time are one in a billion imho but that's the dream that's sold.

As for not trading FX well as retail chumps it's no different to trading indices or commods etc..except the big opportunity/benefit with FX is that you can lose little sums whilst keeping your circa first 2 years of market losses to a minimum..

Well to give them credit they only started collecting the stats after USA regulations forced transparency about broker clients. They will have yearly stats but the data isn't free and rightly so it's valuable material for marketing.

Cheap information/training = cheap quality.

This is a very very very competitive game, just like top level football. So those with the best training and coaches (who don't come cheap) normally always win the big cups and leagues versus those who are trained by the local PE teacher at the local park.

If you want to get good, then expect to pay up towards $10,000 and about 2-5 years. Think about it, if you pay somebody $99 and 3 months and then get trading, who are you up against, many of the people who have paid $10,000 and taken 2-5 years to perfect their craft...........

To master trading i.e. different timeframes, different pairs or different markets, you need to put ample of time (in years) and money...

Normally people go through learning step by step few strategies.....some from books, some from inexpensive course, some from expensive courses and some from self experience...

It is a very very big journey indeed....

i'm not sure if i can say this here in this forum, but i just recently found a strategy only for 60 minutes forex charts at realworldforextrading....you can type that in your browser to check the site.....what i liked about it is the fact that the seller seems dead honest and he doesnt use any marketing gimmicks...

the support seems great but hey...dont expect to learn more than 1 strategy... i bought it for around 70 bucks...and i already recovered that in my first trade with that strategy...

i have learnt several different strategies for different timeframes like this...some by cheap courses and some with very expensive courses...

you can have a look and see if it makes sense to you...

Actually 95% lose is a myth. In reality it's between 60-80%. There seems to be a correlation to the broker and number of clients in those stats too.
I heard a little while ago that Oanda had better figures becasue they pay a small amount of interest into their clients' accounts. Therefore if there was an account where as little as one trade was executed in the period, it would be included in the figures, so a trader might have made a small loss but this was overcome by receiving some interest, therefore making the figures look better.

Thanks HoneyBabe!

I already bought the course from realworldforextrading after reading all encouraging reviews on FPA...

I cannot believe the support they offer at a cheap price and the strategy is so dead simple but yet it is highly effective. I made 3 trades already with this approach and all of them were profitable. I'm up by 9% with these 3 profitable trades. I do not want to look anywhere else.

Thanks Honeybabe..Thanks so so so much!!!!

Go with what you feel is best many people told me not to pay for anything but I done the opposite and paid for a live trading room and the difference is like night and day learning fx remember every profession from lawyers to bricklayers time is money and your paying these guys for their times and there also sharing their real life past experiences never to do that or that again preventing you from losing out. Ask for a discount it won't harm.

Sounds like you've bought the sales pitch to me. Why don't you come back and let us know if and when the course has paid for itself with gains from the market?

In my humble opinion you don't need "a course" to trade the markets - you'll get so confused steam will be coming out of your ears, what you need is a trading system. It has taken me a long time but I have developed one which is simplicity itself, uses a FREE charting system supplied by Market Browser with Indicators set to specific parameters. I wish I had had the confidence in it to physically trade with it rather than just test it, but now I am trading with its signals and Boy its a winner. Anyone interested contact me privately at [email protected] I'm not GIVING it away, I feel I'm due a nominal reward for my efforts but this is NOT a rip-off.

I have been learning this forex stuff and trading live account since an year approx, but now I am convinced that I am just actually wasting my time by searching systems. It just gives me an impression that there really really are NO SYSTEMs that are actually reliable and have been cross checked or verified. There would surely be some professionals mentoring out there or selling there systems and knowledge which made them professional, but they are either too expensive or I just can't rely or cross check them. I now believe that I would be just wasting my time by searching and searching for years and years, and just what I would be left with is to SELF LEARN.
So friends, I am just wishing all these scam and fake systems and EA sellers a bad luck and advice u not to go for it unless u have some very good reasons to believe in it.

Hi PhillipPack

Sorry to hear you have got fed up after studying FX for a year or so and finding no real good method or system

I too was like you in my first few years and nearly gave up many times.

Its a shame no one really tells new traders that to trade successfully and make consistent profits is one of the hardest exercises you will ever undertake.

Remember 75 -90% of all new retail traders fail - they either give up after 6 or 12 months - or stay on and get entirely frustrated between years 2 and 5.

I estimate you need somewhere between 2 and 7 years ( part time) to get there - and really it all depends on the effort - study - time - energy - commitment - and patience you have to make it work.

I went full time after 5 yrs study ( was semi retired ) and even then my first year had doubts - but now over 6 yrs later - I make money every day 95% of the time - and certainly don't have unprofitable weeks or months.

Only maybe 5 or 10 out of 100 methods will be really good - and then its your own mindset which can be the difference between success and failure

I wish you Good Luck on your journey

Regards

The phrase in red is critical to success in the trading arena (just my humble opinion of course):)
