Hello,

I wonder whether anyone ever heard of or joined the method given by Dan Gaub.Dan Gaub is an independent self trader on forex market with personal wealth around $100,000,000 and he is in the top 1% of the best independent traders on the world.

I am very sorry to reply that Dan Gaub was killed in a motorcycle accident yesterday. I had the pleasure of knowing him and his wife, Dawndee. You could not meet finer, more integral people. He will be sorely missed.

Why would someone with personal wealth of around a hundred million dollars bother to sell training courses for a couple of thousand bucks a go?

I can tell u why. I have been a part of Dan's trading group for over 3 yrs. now. I was with him before he ever started the membership fees. The webinars would usually be full with something like 50 to 90 people a night. I had heard at one time he had around 700 contacts on his forex mentoring list.

I think Dan trained and mentored people for free for a couple years. He really did not need to start charging people for money reasons. Due to the popularity of his success and fame in the forex, people were coming out of the woodwork to get on his free calls. Not only that but Dan gave out his personal email address so you could contact him that way too.

At some point it became overwhelming with all the emails, phone calls and requests. Can you imagine having access to a millionaire forex trader who is not only a genius but a very nice guy to boot? People just took advantage of it.

I remember on one call Dan mentioning someone had asked him if he could just send them just that one trade alert per day that would make them 100 pips or more. Seriously? Dan was already sending out daily buy and sell numbers for free to his email list.

So I believe his solution to the overwhelming demand for his knowledge was to form an official trader training and mentoring company. It would be self funded and could easily pay for itself and a full time administrator (Barry).

Did he make some money at it? Of course! I think everything he touched turned to gold.

At the same time it kind of weeded out some of the wannabes from the more serious and truly interested traders. There was not a person in the group who was not willing to pay to hear what Dan had to say.

My deepest sympathies go out to his family. He will be missed by many. What a legacy he has left. God bless you.

You have no way of knowing whether that is or is not the case. However, it is not relevant because it is not your true meaning.

Sadly, Dan Gaub was killed in a motorcycle accident 5/5/2012. Heaven has just become a better place. To learn more see: Motorcyclist Dies in Head-On Crash With Semi. Dan was a spectacularly gifted forex trader and a fine Christian gentleman who had a heart for helping other. Many are better off for having known him. 53 is way to young. Remarkable. This link has a lot of information about Mr Gaub:

Dan Gaub

It seems that until at least 2000, he was a marketer. He discovered currency trading sometime after this.

It states that in 2000, Mr & Mrs Gaub had $90,000 (having worked themselves out of debt via a marketing company).

In the following 10 or so years, it seems that he was able to learn and then master trading to the extent that he was able to turn this 90 grand into personal wealth of over $100,000,000, as we were told at the beginning of this thread.

Truly remarkable.
