Is this true that 95% of forex traders lose money?
surely it must be 95% of new traders I can understand that but if it's 95% of traders in general how come they still hang around trading?

I have made money in Forex but it took me a long time before I turned profitible. But I cannot accept that I am in a 5% bracket. I do not know if my next trade will be a success or will hit the stop loss. If I knew this fact before starting out in Forex I doubt I would of spent the hours and years learning it. because so far its took me 2 years of demo trading and one of Micro trading. :(

At least 95% of FX day traders lose for sure.

Longer time frames, the figure maybe less.

Most people dont demo trade for two years like you did.. most lose real money and give up within six months, some others have a run of begginers luck!, but they too burn out within two years.

Some people survive much longer because they bet small and lose small amounts of money overall every year, with periods profitability in between. They keep at it, it is more of a hobby for them. These hobbyists dont typically bet above £10 a pip, most only ever bet 1 or £2 a pip.

No, it's not true.

Most trading accounts aren't by people who are serious. It's like saying anyone who'd kicked a football and not played in the premier league is a failed football player. Anyway, last I looked it wasn't 95% accounts which lose anyway.

Yes. An you did a great job to be in 5%.

This is normal ratio not only for Forex but also for business. Only 10% new companies stay live more than one year.

Everybody makes their own choice - study and make profit. Or do nothing and blame Brokers, Systems and Strategies... world that they can't make money laying on a couch.
