Well this is proving to be an interesting exercise - who can out wit the other? It would be very interesting to find anyone who knows anything about this service.

Leaving shining wit aside for the moment - what was wrong with my suggestion to ask them to provide UK-based references?

If they do, you can follow those up and get your questions answered.

If they don't - you can draw your own conclusions.
