Vantage Point for FX

Hi,

Has anyone tried the Vantage Point inter-market analysis software? It's available from the website http://vp.tradertech.com/

There are many markets to chose from, and you pay according to which markets you want the software for. For forex, you can buy the major pairs and/or the cross pairs.

I would be very interested to hear if anyone has used this software and if they have had success with it. It sounds like a very interesting product at worst and very profitable at best.

I had it a few years ago, it's utterly useless. I managed to recreate their supposed neural index by using an average of previous prices (can't remember how exactly but I did it in excel). All the stuff about analysing other markets is pure nonsense. The 'predicted' blue and black lines (or whatever colour they are now) are moving averaged shifted forward. Back then they had their own forum where people were all trying to figure out how to use it, nobody that i know was ever profitable with it. They shut the forum down due to the criticism. Don't waste your money.

Thanks for your response pboyles, duly noted. It seems a bit far fetched to be able to successfully extrapolate prices with an 80% success rate or whatever they claim to make. Inter-market analysis is useful but I don't know enough about it to fully take advantage of it. Just the fact they had to shut the forum down is evidence enough.
