Professional Traders wanted for Business Venture

Thank you for reading.

My name is Glenn Ackroyd. I am a successful property entrepreneur. I am part owner and director of the largest property buying company in the UK - Quick Property Sale UK - About A Quick Sale

During this time I have built up a multi million pound property portfolio. For my sins I am also a director of Bradford City; Bradford City | Club | Who's Who | Who's Who at Bradford City Football Club:

So why I am telling you this – to massage my ego of course!

This is simply to show you I am serious about business and am very good at running successful companies (please no jibes about Bradford City).

My business partner is David Laycock, also a successful property entrepreneur has 20 years senior experience working within the Barclays Group. Between us and our high net worth partners, we have substantial funds to invest.

And this is where you hopefully will come in!

We are looking to secure the services of a number of full time traders. The ideal candidates will;
• Work for themselves (ie not a company) and make a full time living from their own trading
• Trade using spread betting platforms
• Have a minimum of 3 years trading experience
• Be able to demonstrate trading success over that period (ie by reference to broker accounts and statements)
• Show monthly return on bank between 20-40% using managed risk trading strategies

We will tell you more about the proposal upon application and interview. But in simple terms we are looking for successful traders, working from home, to manage our fund and share in significant financial returns.

We anticipate average on target earnings for successful applicants to be well in excess of £100K.

Interested?

If so email [email protected] NOW and I’ll send you an application pack.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes,

Glenn

Many thanks for the emails to date, particularly those who have politefully explained that the targets are overly ambitious.

I appreciate that this is not my area of specialism and I am throwing myself into the bear pit. Many thanks for being nice to me :)

I will reply to each email and be making various calls to those interested over the next few days.

BTW - Now I've had chance to properly look around, I realise how little I know! Great site.

or if you make 20-40% a month make 100k yourself.

Also if you trade your own Spread bet account you got to keep the 100k+ all for yourself, 0% tax.

If you trade someone elses SB account and they give you a cut of the profits then you have to pay 40% (and perhaps 50% from next year) income tax for the privilege.

They get huge tax free profits, you get a huge tax bill.

In the UK if you use spreadbet account you don't pay tax, so perhaps this is the way to do it. :)
Now even spreadbet brokers offer similar low spreads on majors.

We do not envisage any taxation issues and have advice to confirm that our structure will not create tax liabilities to our investors as we are trading their money via a spread betting account which is tax free winnings. The 'cost' is the spread. The trader will be using the investor syndicate broker account via permitted legal authority agreed with spread betting broker.

My post concerned the tax implications for the trader not the investor.

Your investors will not have to pay tax but If you give the trader a cut of your profits then he will have to pay income tax.

Wage of 100k plus.

Doesn't seem worth the bother tbh.

If you've managed 20-40% a month for 3 years, then you're not going to be worried about another 100k for all the paper work really. Compounding £100 over those 3 years would of given you 70k already, and another 2 years of it and you'll be at 5 million, enough to retire really.

I know I'm lazy, but 100k doesn't seem worth it, not sure what would be, but I reckon anyone with a 20-40% return monthly probably has enough capital to trade themselves that another 100k/year isn't really worth the bother.

Then there's tax etc, just seems too much effort.

I suppose the assumption is that IG Index will let you take £5m from their account.

Traders do not work on salary unless they are part of a shady outfit.. Only an idiot would pay a trader on salary.. only an idiot would work for salary, unless of course said idiot was a bad trader.. Personally, I would kill myself if I made $100,000/yr. from doing this.. Personally, I would kill my boss for paying me $100,000/yr. to do this.. Personally, I hate forum spam, unless of course it allows me an entertaining opportunity to diss said spammer publically and without remorse.

£100K GBP is equivalent to circa $160K USD.

I appreciate that this level of money may not be attractive to some, but to others, who will be earning additional money themselves, and from other client's, it is not a bad top up for the kiddies ice cream fund.

BTW Pippy, I started out on benefits, cleaned toilets, no money, massive debt. Of these facts I am proud. Prouder in fact than the fact that now I'm extremely wealthy. I would like to believe that my background has helped me retain my humility.

UK spread betting platforms are tax free, because there is no tax on 'winnings'.

However, there are limitations on fund sizes so there are pro's and cons

Retaining your humility, that is good. Start by aiming for returns in the 20-40% per YEAR range.

Hi Donald -

I accept that my expectation may be ambitious and I need to balance the risk -v- reward objectives.

To this end, I am revising my plans to balance funds and hedge against exposure.

Many thanks for your comments.

I´m not sure you really know what you´re looking for.
Anyone with three years + of succesful trading experience can aesily make over 40% a month and the 100 k will depend only on their account, if at the beggining he didnt had that amount i can tell you he already has over 100k to trade and making over 40% a month why would these person want to compromise is freedom to work for you?, now as donaldduke told you, why start paying taxes?.

The ideal candidate would have 3 years +, however we are keeping our options open and have no problem in considering people with shorter trading experience.

Also to clarify - this is not a $160k USD position working exclusively for us. We anctipate that successful traders will also be making money on their own funds and working other private clients, for which we have no problem. So this will be ADDITIONAL fee generation money.
