Hello friends
I am looking for a good and broker basically for professional, institutions providing DMA , ECN, having good liquidity and market depth..

I am looking to deposit $20-25,000

Would appreciate if anyone can guide me in to this please

Thanks

A little under 2 months, had no problems so far, its all been good, I think the minimum to deposit is $1000 usd or what ever that is equivalent to in another currency, max leverage 100:1

and what minimum lot they allow.

actually the real ECN, DMA broker usually allows 50:1.. i believe..

I have high doubts on fxpro..

I am by no means affiliated with the brokers below. I compiled this list from a research I'm doing because I'm also switching to ECN some time next year and I like to do an extensive research before I choose a broker. So far this is what I've got. Not in any order.

hotspotfx for institutional trading

marex fx (not sure if they offer trading to retailers)

interactive brokers
lmax
mb trading
dukascopy

These are all ECN, I doubt DMA is available to retail traders as I haven't seen any so far.

edit2: I have removed the link since I found out they have been charged for fraud in 2007.

DMA providers from the London Stock Exchange website: http://www.londonstockexchange.com/...-market-access/dma-providers/dmaproviders.htm

good list mate (y)

Thanks, I did however remove LCG from the list, because they are a market maker, so be aware of that because this thread is about ECN and DMA brokers.

In terms, of execution, tight spreads, commissions charged.
Plan to open account with $50K
So CapMar or CFH..
Which one are you using professionally?

Thanks Dow, for your quick responses.

Do you have any experience using CFH and CapMar ?
I am also checking out FIXI and Marex..

Both IG and Accendo Markets offer DMA pricing for CFDs with the former offering just the platform and the latter offering platform + dedicated broker + research. Both allow you to see real-time market spread and depth for equities. In terms of charges, both very competitive. Lots of other CFD brokers out there too not all have DMA so beware cheap trading offset with wide spreads. What is your focus in terms trading. FTSE100?

Accendo Markets mainly do CFD and SB equities, I think. Assuming you trade some forex (judging by reference to ECN?), IG do have an ECN offering with DMA to bank liquidity. I think they charge commission for this – no extra spread. Not sure if it’s worth doing in terms of cost, let us know what you find out. Others, like FXCM have straight through processing. Technically, I don’t believe this is an ECN though.

Direct Market Access for which market(s). Currencies? Or CFDs?

If your CFD broker is an ECN then you will not be able to trade small cap stocks as the liquidity just isn't there for many small cap stocks on a non-market maker model.
