Forex.com (UK)

I am based in the UK if I open a Forex.com account and put money in to it, will my money stay in the UK? or will it go to USA? I notice that Forex.com our owned by Gain captial who are USA based? but my I only want to put my money in to a UK based account, I want my money in this country.

Also will it be a sterling account??

In that case stick with FSA authorized firms.

Forex.com were fined almost $500,000 for using dishonest slippage and margin practices a while back. Why would you risk that?

Actually the term used was 'abusive', still you get the idea.
