Hi Guys,

Over the past few months I have started to place bets on the midday and end of day prices using Blue Square. I have been doing really well but was wondering if anyone else knew of any other bookies apart from Blue Square who provide fixed odds betting??

Thanks for your help in advance!

The ones I've sometimes used are Betfair (similar bets available to Blue Square, the last time I looked, anyway) and BetOnMarkets (different sort of thing altogether, although very flexible and some rather agreeable pricing anomalies from time to time). Well done at Blue Square and keep it up.

For fixed ods betting it has to be binary betting. Odds are expressed as percentages instead of the old-style fixed odds or decimal odds, making it easier to trade in and out and take profits/losses. City Index's trading exchange (binexx.com) has been the most fruitful for me.

Binexx and Binarybet are crap with wide prices. Just stick it up on Betfair inside their spread and you will get it traded no problem.

That's certainly been my experience.

Roberto,

to your knowledge are BOM the only people who allow betting on 10 min intervals?

To my knowledge they are, but it's _easily_ possible that my information's out of date because I haven't looked around recently: sorry!

The problem with Betfair is that once the market moves say 20 points, there are no markets to play on and there is often only £2 available to bet on...! At least with Binexx, there are markets always in-play on and you can see the liquidity.

Betfair has hourly FTSE bets
