eMinis trading hours

Got a simple question. What are the trading hours like for eminis? I understand the eminis are traded almost 24 hours, except for a small break. Is there like a opening/closing?

As a rule of thumb, it's best to get answers to questions such as yours from the horses mouth, rather than relying upon the contributions from anonymous members here. While I doubt that fellow T2W members would not deliberately mislead you, going directly to the source provides a 100% reliable answer to the question. Thanks for the URL. Correct me if I am wrong. Does it go something like this?

Sun: 5pm ....trading....past 12 midnight... Mon 3.15pm... BREAK till 3.30pm

Mon: 3.30-4.30pm trade for 1 hour...... Then trading halt.

Maintenance till 5pm.

Resume trading at 5pm.

Trade till next day (Tues) 3.15pm...... Break till 3.30pm
Trade for another 1 hour till 4.30pm.... Then halt.

Resume at 5pm........

Continue trading this way till Friday.

Then all trading stop till Sunday 5pm. Repeat.

Am I right?

On a candlestick or ohlc, opening price is calculated at 5pm and closing price is calculated at the following day 3.15pm or 4.30pm?
