Hi, I am new to this -and more specific to any- forum, so please forgive me when i make mistakes. That goes also for my english, Dutch is my native language.

Anyway, does anyone know anything about Platinum group holdings from Hong Kong. Today a mail to them bounced and the website is locked.

Thx,
Peter

Did you buy some shares from them after they called you? If you did then you have lost your money. It seems they are already well known as a fraud/scam, there is an official UK Government alert about them. This is a very common problem, if you look at the boiler room scam thread here on T2W you will see many examples of this type of fraud.

I think you should report it to your own regulator as soon as possible.

Thx for your advise.
However, the AFM is only a local operating authority.

In the meantime I contacted IOSCO, www.iosco.org. They gave a very prompt and kind response and directed me to the China Securities Regulatory Commission, www.csrc.gov.cn and the Securities and Futures Commission Hong Kong, www.sfc.hk.

At first there was a company called Dragon Partners from Beiing involved, but they disappeared. The involved names from Dragon Partners Inc.: Wilson Hong (CEO), Patrick Wakefield, Zack Chen.
The involved name from Platinum group Holdings: Jim Young, (CEO)

Hot, sorry but your money has been stolen.

Also, those websites you're being told to visit are also 100% scam, they're controlled by the same scammers who originally stole your money.

Listen now very carefully -

ANYONE AND EVERYONE THAT CALLS YOU OR TALKS TO YOU ABOUT YOUR SHARES ARE THIEVES.

This means you'll be getting all sorts of calls from people offering to help, but all of them will want you to pay them money upfront before they in turn pay you back big money. But they're setting you up for an advanced-fee scam.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but please learn from your mistake and also from what I or others on this thread tell you. You can trust us because we're never going to ask you for money.

Well.....that's loud and clear, I assumed already that I was ripped. I also noticed that since that event I'm on a "fools-list" and got a lot off calls from people that want to make me rich.....I learned fast and since I tell them to do nasty and painful things with their propositions the number of calls decreases fast.

Hot

It has to be 'loud and clear' because many people just don't learn. They get scammed, then scammed again and then again - all the time trying to get back the original money they lost. Of course the scammers are the same people.

Not saying that this would be you but just in case :)
