is there any chance for winning?

Hello all,
I have been trying with stock market for two years and I think even gambling would make more chances to win. I really have good feelings but when I win I win much less than when the losing happens. I guess the system is designed for only big losses. I don't want to say how much so far I lost (one wasn't my fault, it was a 95 percent drop from one day to the other which made all my money lost). I tried again from a few hundred pounds, and winning for a while, climbing up a while, then all gone again.
Could you tell me a percentage, how mamy of you ended up finally in positive? Is there a chance to get out well?

First Q. Can you dedicate at least 1,000 hours of overall commitment, research and engagement with your new industry in the first year of trading...? If you can't get past that IMHO you should treat the markets as no more than a bit of fun and look for a 'coin toss' strat. 50% you win 50% you lose, there's one of them on this first steps section.

Get the MM right (with a coin toss strat.) and you may do more than break even. TBH you're then betting on a 2 horse race that you can stop, change jockeys half way down the track, or pull up short and try another race having only lost half your stake...beats going to the bookies??

Hi bonanna - this is a terribly hard game with terribly hard consequences for those who don't win. But the good news is that all you have to do to win is stay in the game - don't get knocked out. There are many many ways to win, but there is only one way to lose, and that is to get knocked out. This is a great forum to find out ways to win, free of charge, just beware of people trying to make money by selling something to traders, rather than trading.

I'd suggest your number 1 task this week is to work out a way of trading that cannot leave you exposed to a 95% loss overnight. Don't trade any more until you have done this. If necessary, ask your broker / SB firm for advice - they don't want you to go bust. Ask them particularly about stop-losses.
