24 hour trading

Hi All - A question please:

Across indices, forex and commodities only, which markets provide the best liquidity for seamless trading 24 hours a day (or as close to 24 hours as possible)?

For example:

European indices and forex crosses 8am - 4pm (approx) GMT
North and South American indices and forex crosses 3pm - 9pm (approx) GMT
Etc

(I know little about commodities or Asian / Pacific trading hours)

Help appreciated!

FX can move well throughout the day and night. Depends on what is going on, really. Best time to trade is London session and a bit into the US session but these days you can get decent moves at night - don't count on it lasting forever, though.
