Hi,

Is there a summary of trade_dantes 'making money trading' thread. In one of the posts there was mention of it being put in a word document? I've started trying to filter out the best bits but am finding it very hard.

I think one was posted somewhere in the thread but to be honest, I'd read the whole thing through. There is loads to learn from the others that posted on there.

it's a shame the print-out facility isn't more advanced and can print out all the charts as well as the words! i much prefer to read large amounts off paper rather than screen.
I shall persevere and read it all though!

Well so far I will summerise him as a talker with no proof on paperwork.

I'm not hurt at all, just after proof and a statement that he actually does that he preaches, so far zero after being asked by many people. Time to wake up and smell the coffee, I don't listen to anyone without proof of their worth first as I'm not stupid.

Edit, I see the previous comment to this was removed saying I was hurt..lolz.

hey Trotters101

I would recommend you read everything you can on trading that is available through Free websites / forums / freebees etc etc and naturally this includes TD's work.......

take a year to do it ........play around a lot with demos and ideas ....dont rush !

after that you will be much more experienced about making decisions on the path you will walk in trading ...........its not a sprint and do try to hang on to your money for as long as possible.........

I honestly don't understand what everybody's problem is. It's not like td is forcing anybody to follow his methods.

Read it, if you want to. Use it, don't use it. It's really all the same.

I, for one, has learnt a great deal from him. But that is not where one's education should stop.

Anyway, you'll just keep complaining. To much idle time, would be my guess.

Then why are you asking on a public forum that he doesn't seem to use anymore? You know where to find him, go ****ing ask him.

This is just another bull**** witch hunt. If you actiually gave a **** you'd figure out what he was preaching, try it, then come back with a legitimate complaint.

so you guys think we shouldnt point out someone who makes ridiculous claims etc.
I also learnt from TD and found him helpful in my early days,but that doesnt excuse what he is claiming, believe it if you wish

Back when I first joined this forum, there was a member named SOCRATES. Most people back then, and still do today (as you will no doubt see) claimed he was a charlatan because he never provided any ‘proof’ of his claims. His response to the detractors was “You need to prove it to yourself”. I did exactly that and I am glad I ‘listened’ to SOCRATES instead of all the dumbass detractors in this forum. So, to answer your question, I wouldn’t pay any more attention to the ‘we’ in this forum than I would to someone making a “ridiculous” claim.

And there you have it!

Hah ! Next you will ask him to stop whining and put forward a grown up discussion on the subject. The sort that shows trades in the TD manner then comparing them with outcomes.

Others are quick to attack TD but their empty school yard rants also lack any investigative rigour (crikey-scientific method might make a come back). Shame TD took the vendor route as I liked his earlier stuff. Nonetheless the naysayers should stop trying to be a PB without the substance and show "why" they think TD is a naughty boy ("why" relating to evidence from earlier posts/trades and not simply empty rhetoric).

Yes, I know he is accused of not posting accounts etc (ffs) but you have a duty to post proof of your (not Raw) allegations (after all you are the guy making them) otherwise what we have here is a pointless thread of empty rhetoric that detracts from more educational stuff on other threads. Well, you can tell I don't trade in the afternoon.

Yes it was. Many traders have emailed him direct and asked for proof of his a couple grand to 400k trading the SFP pattern, you know the one he charges people to learn, no response. No witch hunt here, just real questions that people should be asking ANY vendor. The more I'm attacked the more guilty he looks.

and even if he does make them, is there a causal relationship between someone's claims and the validity of their approach to the market?

Flipping through his thread that 'SFP' pattern is just a double touch with a close above previous low. Not exactly rocket science. If you care so much why not work out the expectancy instead of whining?
