STA Diploma(STA Advice)

HI,

I am looking for a brief overview of the pre requesite knowledge necessary to pass the STA Diploma and also if the qualification is actually beneficial in terms of beefing up a CV for any IB's and Prop Trading Companies?

Have a 2.2 in Finance and have been working in BO and Trade Support for an IB FX & FX Option Trading Desk for just over 2 years and am looking to take the step up to a more substantial role, would the STA Diploma be a good route to pursue vs say the CFA's?

Any feedback would be much appreciated!!!
