Beginner, Questions, CFG Trading, What's Good Out There?

I'm actually signed up for a class in a couple of weeks and am now concerned about the integrity and legitimacy of the group. The company is Concorde Forex Group and there are several things online (from 2 years ago, or more) that are very negative about this group. I have family members who have trained with this company (also known as CFG Trading) and they seem very excited about the opportunity. However, neither one of them have really made any money yet.

I'm VERY interested in the trading opportunity, but am wondering if there are really any *good* companies to go with and/or learn from? I don't feel like I can do it all on my own with just reading information online, as I know some people have.

I've just started researching this forum and would love any input you all can give. Please let me know what you think. If there's a company you can recommend that I can research and if you have pricing information that would be great. I want to compare what I'm thinking of going into to what ever else is out there.

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can give. I have some money to use for training but I sure don't want to be throwing it away. I really need to be able to make a decent amount of money doing the trading or it won't be worth the time or money to do so. I already have a full-time job and two young children at home so I don't have "extra" time to spend on something that's going to be a waste of time. I DO, however, have time to spend on something that could really help shape my (and my family's) future.

Thanks again.
