Sector Selection

Hi everyone

After a little advice.

Relatively new to trading, and I am trying to find a method of finding which sectors at any one time are performing well, or poorly. Is there an easy way of doing this?

I am running sharescope, it will rank individual shares within a sector, but I guess that I am after a rank of sectors within the market.

Any ideas?

I did not understand what you're looking for. want to know the areas that have a positive trend during a recession?

Hey Colin, why don't you look at the ETF of each sector? See which one are strong, and which ones are weak. Most of the time what's hot in the US is hot in the world.

colin are you after intraday sector analysis or end of day?
there are ways to analyse sectors intraday for relative strength/weakness.
