Interesting and practical are not necessarily the same thing. If you want interesting read the Market Wizards books. If you want practical understanding of forex trading Luca isn't bad, though I certainly wouldn't call his books exciting reads.

Seriously though, I enjoyed the book, but would consider it highly inappropriate for newbs. His stop strategies (for want of a better word) would have them thinking they were being cleverly discretionary when in reality, they would just be doing what most newbs do in simply hoping for the price to ‘come back’.

For the absolute basics I found 'Currency Trading for Dummies' very informative.
Rather than diving straight into trading it explains all about how Forex works, what drives the market & individual currencies, the characteristics of currency pairs, leverage, swap etc. Gave me many a-ha moments.

I have seen it somewhere in the internet. But it costs a bit of money. $60+ for ebook? Is it really worth it? I have $50 and I think that good, valuable ebook for that price is reasonable choice...I could even pay that $60 but I am not sure if it is worth it.
What is the realistic price you could pay for ebook like this? How many of you bought Bird Watching...? $15 ebooks seem to me like they have nothing special inside...where $60 is a bit much...anything between it?

All you have to do is search for them on Google.

Grace Cheng: 7 Winning Strategies for Trading Forex - As well as teaching the strategies I though her intro to FX markets and trading were crystal clear.
Beat the Forex Dealer - A bit alarmist? It has a lot of good stuff in it, it just seems themed around putting the frighteners on you. If you find a broker that treats you right you're going to stick with them - that's what I will do.

who knows the FPI system?
That sounds interesting. I think I can try to buy it. I will read few books in next 2 months. If I find anything interesting I will get back to you guys
