Hi All,

I wonder if anyone could help me please?
I have got an interview at GH Financial in London tomorrow and I have been trying to do some homework on the company (I always like to go in prepared) but I am finding very little information on the internet (with the exception of their own website which has limited information on it).
Does anyone know anything about them that I might be able to mention in the interview to help my chances (such as who started the company up, how many employees it has, how it has done in the last twelve months and so on)?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks and kind regards,

John Ellis

Hey!
No ways! Lucky man you. :)
Please get that job!
OK. GH stands for Gedon Hertshten, the chairman and major shareholder of GHF. He started the company after being a trader himself at the Chicago Board of Trade. Please check Archives.
They have lots (!!!) of employees around the world, and they have started proprietary trading branches across the globe and still expanding. I reckon they are doing very well. I worked for the Mauritius branch, then left cause i was relocating (major mistake to be honest because now i "delocated" again and want my job back). Oh well, another story.
Please check Welcome - GHF Futures | Part of MCB Capital Markets Group which is the Mauritius branch website. Should give you an idea of what they doing.
I hope this helps.
Good luck for your interview. And also, make sure your mind is alert. You will surely get asked a question like what is 13 X 12.50 (a tick :p), and you should be able to calculate mentally. Plus they might give you an arithmetic test and an intelligent quotient test which you must work as fast as possible through. So please be alert!!
And if you get the job, stick with them. I reckon they are winners.
Keep well and good luck.
:)

Er, is the interview for a trader position or other? Because if its for the latter then i doubt you'll have arithmetic tests etc..
Anyways, good luck.

Hi!

May I join your discussion and ask also something?

Which products do they mainly trade? What are the guidelines that they give you? At which exchanges do they trade? How is the payment system (fixed and bonus)?

Do they tell you where to re-locate? Where do they have offices? How many people are working for them?

What kind of people are they? I mean, are they fair, challenging, evasive...what does it mean to work there?

I would appreciate very much if you could share your expereinece with me as I'm quite new.

Kind regards
Richy
