First of all i want to thank T2W for such an amazing website full of amazing people. God bless you all.

Let me begin by first admitting that i am a newbie. - Greener than grass but with a ferocious appetite for reading.

During my research...TRO(The Rumpled One) seams to pop up from everywhere.

I want to dedicate this thread to newbie like me who want to understand his trading style.:)

I get you foredog. Just trying to understand his trading style. I and many others have no clue whatsoever. It would be good to know.

For example

I know he doesn't recommend brokers with fixed spreads. :)

One method to prove to yourself that it repaints, is to take the data-file, and then cut the price-bars out from say 9-am.
Then, try to show a static chart (so that MT4 doesnt try to update the data-file).
then, add in 30-min worth of data at a time, to see how the chart evolves.

this way, you should be able to see the chart form before your eyes, by adding in the extra price bars. and in so doing, see it repaint, as it takes the new data, and retrospectively hit with hindsight (is that tautological?) the highs/lows.

(I dont know how to do this, but am trying to find a way)

once you have the charts, do you actually have a strategy to use this stuff?

Thanks .. that is really impressive. Let me give it a try. Does this help me in the actual trading.

I am trying different strategies from different points. Trying to come up with a "toxic" mix ....thanks
