Brokers for shorting
Hi
Could anyone sugest some names of non US based brokers that permit short selling for the LSE from a sterling account. Most of the brokers I have already looked at are US based and come complete with US regulations about day traders.

If you're comfortable trading options you can always construct synthetic shorts from a long put and short call, the advantages being no need to borrow the security, no dividend issues and shorting restrictions don't apply.
