Hi All

I used to work in recruitment up until 5 months ago and decided that i wanted a change in career as well as more freedom to work when I needed to, trading seems to be the best profession one could do if done well.

I have been taking day trading courses since the start of the year and have been trading on and off since February, I have reguarly been breaking even and hope to start making some money this year.

The courses I have taken have all focused on day trading but none have actually explained what kind of format should I be using for day trading, i,e spread betting, futures, cfd, etc.

So far I have only used IG index for SB, is SB the best system to use for day trading indices like the FTSE 100? Does anyone have any recommedations for any other type of trading services?

Thanks

I went for a course with capital spreads and as you mentioned they only talked about day trading and not how I should trade. There's a reason for it, as CFDs, spread betting, options, etc. are just means to trade and it depends on your circumstances, targets and risk aversion.
I, personally, prefer sb as it gives you many options and markets whereas share dealing allows you to trade shares only.

great, thanks for the reply. Do you think SB is suitable for day trading?
