metastock system tester dates?

I have saved a list of stocks in Favorites but when i use this list for a system test, the current up to date charts are not used. Only up to the date of when the chart was added to favorites is used.
Any ideas please.:mad:
 
system tester/select system/add securities/favourites/select folder of saved securities /open/dates from when list made shown - not most recent date of chart loaded for test??
 
MORE INFO >> If a stock is opened within Favorites it is up to date. But if the same stock is selected from within the same folder in favorites [for a system test] the stock is only using dates up to when the stock was added to favorites [2 months previously]? Any ideas please.
 
When you open a chart, it has the time scale of data that is ADDED and it also has time scale of data that will be DISPLAYED

....If the template chart or layout has different time scales built in then you will need to change these....

As long as the data has a beginning date and an end date then it should be displyed in any chart.

...You ned to look at CHARTS, TEMPLATES and LAYOUT seetings as well....
 
x axis properties / displayed - first and last date + Loaded - first date + last date both have matching time scales with the last dates correcy for the last update.

When the same chart is loaded for system tester, the date range is 500 periods prior to a date that isnt the most recent on the chart??

Thanks anyway, any more ideas?
 
I remember I had a similar problem and I solved it by loading the chart directly from its folder.
