Where do I start? Lots of good useful information on here but a few questions

Where can i demo-trade?

I`ve been watching the videos on Kwikpop are these recommended by anyone?

I know its very early days but how do you chose a broker?

Thanks for some of the excellent threads on here, keep up the good work

Gee it would be a good idea to find out what you want to trade in the first place.

I like to practice on RBS - CFDs (FX and Indices) demo is free and web based, the demo is no different to a real live account and it is one of the best software you can get. Only live you need only place mental stops as they cheat you when placing autostops, but I don't know of any banks that don't yet. That is one thing you need to know.

Here is the link for you. marketindex: Homepage

There are some top broker means eToro, AVAFX, OANDA. Just use their demo account and if satisfied with result then move to real account with same broker otherwise switch to other broker.

I'm also starting in this forex business , and i've registered a demo account at zulutrade , you could try it too.

I tried a few demo platforms. So, the most convenient and understanable for me - Unitrader. as I've understood, it's relatively new, but I realy enjoy it. They have a good manual - everything is clear. Here is the homepage -unitrader.com. Techsupport is very friendly. I think, it's worth trying.

Finding the right trading platform is very important, not just in the use of it but also the spreads / execution / reliability / getting money out of the account etc.

Most brokers also have training packages but they tend to focus on teaching people how to use their own platform.

I would always recommend starting on the higher time frames ( H1 +) and finding your "style" based on your personality and emotions. But, ultimately most new traders will end up trawling forums looking for a "holy grail" set of indicators or rules and smash up their account.
