banks...what next???

hello all I,m new to this and consider myself a novice. I have dabbled a bit and got lucky with aim resources and am still hopeful that gasol will bring home the bacon but what of the banking institutions....A friend of mine cleaned up over the last few weeks with barclays. So it begs the question what of RBS or Llyods....I,m sorely tempted to dip my bread as it were but need someone with more experience to be able to instill a little more belief..is there anyone out there with strong feelings either for against me investing my money in the aforementioned
