I'm going to take it in April since I'm late for this session which is ended today. From the materials that are required for the course, I consider this as an excellent learning tools and guidance.
The exam won't be difficult but the learning process is so helpful

I passed level 1 last week on the 2nd attempt, underestimated how difficult it would be back in April.

Level 1 was a 2 hour multiple choice exam and Level 2 is 4 hours long. Level 3 is essey style.

Compasring with the 2 other professional exams that I've been through, this is much lighter,
and the subject is something that I love that why I felt that it's not heavy.

Compared to the CFA Level 1 that I am studying for at the moment they are much lighter.
I have the prep exam booklet but I will keeping that as back up. I advise you buy the booklet rather than the flashcards as there is more questions and you can take a mock exam to get a better feel for it.
I do have these DVDs that I may sell if interested. MTA Educational Seminars

I know this is an old thread but I'm bumping since I'm looking for answers to the same question. Does not seem as if he ever got his question answered though.
As well, it says that there is a requirement for having to have an 'investment' work background (for 3+yrs) to obtain the certificate. I work for a bank in a warehouse lending department, nothing directly tied to investments. Is this still something that I could pursue?
