Canadian trading platforms

anyone have any experience or comments on canadian trading platforms. it seems that they all use the same platform from the same vendor (eg. td waterhouse active trader, etrade canada, questrade, tradefreedom = same platform)

I am not satisfied with it and looking for something else.
any comments/suggestions appreciated

i haven't tried all of those but i use thinkorswim canada
they have low comissions and a free desktop / web platform with lvl 2 quotes without any minimum number of trades..

TD Ameritrade is buying thinkorswim in the US. Presumably, TD waterhouse will get thinkorswim Canada.

So, when will I be able to trade options in my Canadian RRSP using thinkorswim's trading platform ?
