Hi Everyone

for everyone to understand the question:

A company whose shares are traded on the so-called "pink sheets" is commonly one that does not meet the minimal criteria for capitalization and number of shareholders that are required by the NASDAQ and OTC and most exchanges to be listed there. The "pink sheet" designation is a holdover from the days when the quotes for these stocks were printed on pink paper. "Pink Sheet" stocks have both advantages and disadvantages. (Invest FAQ: Trading: Pink Sheet Stocks)

If you are institutional try Goldman’s
or
if you are retail just give Barclays brokers a call they might be able to help

Thanks Magos

Hi keyman
Just picked up your post. Did you have any success in finding a broker in the UK to trade pink sheets shares?. I am having the same problem. I am an individual not a company.
Thanks

Nobody is going to offer you a way to trade your pinks, at least here in the UK.

And where and how did you buy them? Was it from a cold call, if so, sorry to be the bearer of bad news but they're probably worthless and the money you paid to the brokers was stolen from you.

Write the loss off to experience and in future never buy a financial product that you haven't fully researched plus of course fully check out the broker you're dealing with.

Good luck anyway.

Thank you for your advice. Yes I came to realise just a couple of weeks ago that it could be a 'boiler room scam'. I purchased the shares a year ago from a cold call ,sending funds to US. However I have recently contacted the stock transfer agent who informs me that the stock certificate is genuine. I just need to have the restriction lifted and they will send me a new certificate. However it is still on 'pink sheets' so even if it is genuine, as you say, I can't deal with them in the UK.

Ah Well one learns from one's 'expensive' mistakes.

Thanks

Hi terry
try charles schwab, speak to danielle mun ives.
It is $10,000 to open up account, the thing with pick sheets is that they are very risky but very profitable also, just be careful of the tactics people use, mainly called pump and dump, were they recomend buy to there email list of investors,so directors can off load at nice profits,if your fast and can trade quickly jump on board but be careful and i mean careful.

Any UK broker would deal in pink sheet stocks all day long.
BUT if the stocks are the result of share pushers and/or restricted then you will come to a brick wall.
Most of the bad stocks that are restricted might as well be thrown in the bin.
If you look on yahoo finance then look at the historic trades, this might give you a clue. If there is ample daily volume (in value as well as number of shares) then you stand a chance. If you don't come into the former category then PM me.
