I am looking for a Stockbroker service, and I am debating on Barclay's Capital and Halifax Sharebuilder. I am aware of Barclay's higher commission charges, which I am prepared to pay if the service is superior to Halifax. l wish to buy Exchange traded funds as part of my portfolio and I am not sure if this service deals with these transactions.

If it were me i'd be inclined to go with the cheaper one to start with and change if you are not happy. Try them both even. It also depends on your style of trading and what you are after...
