Hey everyone. I'm new to day trading and wanted to practice by paper trading to get some experience. I've looked into a few different trading platforms offered at different brokerages, but nobody seems to offer a paper trading trial period or anything. Does anyone know of a good way to do this?

Signing up and downloading metatrader demo from broco is probably one of the easiest ways to do this.
what is a 'demo', exactly? does it allow you to place trades and evaluate your performance without actually moving money?

Go to www.fxpro.com and download their everlasting MetaTrader demo - you can realistically trade with play money. to reveal all the numerous intrusments, RIGHT click in the Market Watch window and click 'Show all'.

For forex I like fxtrade.oanda.com mainly because it's a java based platform.
I think NINJA Trader is the best as long as you want to paper trade and backtest.
