Hey everyone. I'm new to day trading and wanted to practice by paper trading to get some experience. I've looked into a few different trading platforms offered at different brokerages, but nobody seems to offer a paper trading trial period or anything. Does anyone know of a good way to do this?

Signing up and downloading metatrader demo from broco is probably one of the easiest ways to do this.

A demo allows you to make trades in virtual money. Supposed to be exactly the same as doing it for real. You can trade for 100,000 a trade or one dollar.

Go to www.fxpro.com and download their everlasting MetaTrader demo - you can realistically trade with play money. to reveal all the numerous intrusments, RIGHT click in the Market Watch window and click 'Show all'.

Read the help file to learn how to use it.

I think NINJA Trader is the best as long as you want to paper trade and backtest.
