A glance at commissions and spreads, yes, but you are right in what you say. Too much time is spent on them and, blame, too.
However, since you don't want to talk about that, what shall we talk about?

the market place is tricky so if we explain that to nubies here maybe they will ask sme questions for the more experienced to answer before they put their hard earned money to the sharks.....

Well I never! Reading through a lot of the threads on this forum, I would never have guessed that markets were so tricky or that some of the experienced traders here willingly and freely answer questions and offer advice!

Well well. While I have sympathy with newbies that lose a lot, it's unfortunate if you're not acquainted with any of the following first:
- the hundreds of books on the subject
- "there's no such thing as a free lunch"
- "if it seems to good to be true, it probably isn't"
- "google"
- trader forums such as this
etc.
