What do you need it for? Depending on your needs, something considerably cheaper may be fine.

it is a good stable charting platform, certainly better than the vast majority of retail platforms, howver, whether the price differential equates to better value in terms of real, useable features or advantages for you, depends on what you want to do with it.
I use CQG and have done so for a a year. However, I trade through them as well so it does make things a little cheaper. It is true though for the price you pay there are cheaper charting packages. Especially if you do not need things such as the back-tester, or MP.
