Just playing around at the moment with Google Finance and got some questions.

1. Where it says "Last Price - 6.98*" I take it as being just under 7p?

2. Cost Basis is at £7.00, is that what my total amount of shares come to?

3. Mkt Value is £6.98, if this how much my shares are valued at if I were to trade them, why are they not currently valued at what they are worth at closing?

in all honesty If you are looking to trade shares you are looking at the wrong site or data provider for quotes. Try Bloomberg.com the site is not very easy to use, but it is the most comprehensive data provider in the world if you ask me. If you want real up-to day price data ring your broker.

Yes

That means the average price you paid per share.

Prices move constantly. Closing price just represents what the last traded price was at the end of the session.
