Formulas and equations

Can someone supply me with as many trading formulas as possible to help my understanding.

Any ideas on what equations? There are millions!! Do you want basics like a futures fair value calc, or put-call parity? Or are you looking for Heston's model as applied to Ito's lemma?!? Massively open-ended!!
And what level of maths do you have? If you have not studied at least p.d.e's, stochastics etc, then the vast majority of equations will be meaningless.

Hi, I was hoping to have an equation of how the points value on the vertical axis of the FTSE 100 is calculated. Just looking for some basic info at this stage.

FTSE will explain the rules on how the index is constructed for you. That is probably best. Not sure what you mean by axis? I am assuming you mean index value?
