Hello All!

Just wanted to say Hi to everyone. I just joined this message board a couple of weeks ago to hopefully meet some knowlegable people who can help me make my trading dream a reality. I have been trading for about 4 years now and I have suffered several losses to say the least. I would like to say that I have paid my dues but I still don't think I'm there yet. My interest is mostly in short term swing trading 3-5 day positions using technical techniques. I have recently found a few tricks using moving averages and I can usually, at best, win about as much as I loose. We all know I'll get nowhere at that level. I have read so many trading books I don't know which direction to go next. I am hoping some of you guys( and gals) can recommed to me some Ideas as to which direction to head next. I would like to take some live trading seminars but I am scared of all the scams out there. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Thanks for your time and once agian HELLO ALL!

You can learn pretty much everything they tell you in those £3000 seminars online if you are willing to put in the work. I see you're well-read. They'll just tell you what you've read. I've seen DVDs of some of those seminars and while it was good to see them, they're definitely not worth the money people are asking. Get a demo account and keep practicing.

Thanks for the reply. I have found some helpfull info on this site already and I think I can spend quite a bit of time here. What a great video. I can honestly say that I have never had a day that bad... thank goodness. I hope I never do. Them gaps sure can hurt!

Having no stoploss is quite painful, too!

I have learned that lesson the hard way as well. Thankfully not to the tune of 25K.

I suspect we've all been there. Most of us just realise very quickly that it's the road to ruin.
